Another accolade for Roger the Dodger

Last week, the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans selected Roger Staubach '65 as a 2007 Award Recipient, and he will be inducted as a lifetime Member of the Association in Washington, D.C. on April 12-14, 2007.

Roger is also the 2000 recipient of the U. S. Naval Academy Alumni Association's Distinguished Graduate Award, and he co-chaired the recently completed Leaders to Serve the Nation Campaign that raised more than $250 million in total gifts, pledges and bequests - the most comprehensive fundraising campaign in the Naval Academy's history.
Founded in 1947, the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans continues to fulfill its mission of honoring the achievements of outstanding individuals in our society who have succeeded in spite of adversity and of encouraging young people to pursue their dreams through higher education.

I know you will all join us in congratulating Roger for yet another recognition by a premier organization for his selfless contribution and service to community.
